Chocolate Coconut Slice is packed full of vitamins and minerals, perfect for that afternoon snack or a super healthy nutritious treat for the kids!

Ingredients

80g raw organic cacao powder
90g raw cashews
150g raw almonds (you can use walnuts if you prefer)
80g dessicated coconut
280g dried dates (pitted)
40g raw honey
100gm raw organic coconut oil

25g = 1 tablespoon

Method

Step 1. Blend all nuts until finely chopped and put aside in a large bowl.
Step 2. Blend cacao, coconut and dates until finely chopped, add them to the nuts and mix together well.
Step 3. Blend in the honey and coconut oil until the whole mixture is shiny and sticks together. You may need to add more  coconut oil.
Step 4. Press the mixture into a shallow rectangle or square dish and use a spoon to smooth the top over and press down.
Step 5. Sprinkle some coconut over the top and refrigerate for approximately 2 hours.

You can also roll the mixture into little balls and then roll them in the coconut and place on a dish to refrigerate if you prefer.
